THREE THINGS THAT NEED TO BE AVOIDED TO REMAIN FIT: by Neeraj Mehta
Let me ask you a question ‘’if you were given the responsibilibity to make people around you fit and healthy, what would be your strategy and what would you change’’.
Many fitness trainers, doctors, dietician have tried to bring a change but the success levels have been low and actually no one has been able to bring about a big change.
Main problem is not with the big things but things that have been neglected for a long time and are main reasons for fitness failures. In order to bring about a change in the fitness industry these problems need to be focused upon:
In the fitness industry this problem is the biggest as everyone involved tries to put the blame on other .We need to ignore the negativity and accentuate the positive. Be it gym trainers, clients or dieticians, everyone blames one another and mass media puts the oil to the flame picking out even the slightest dangers involved in fitness activities. What needs to be done here is the promotion of correct information and examples needs to be set by trainers, dieticians who are really good at their work, successful and are dedicated to the cause. If these positive accomplishments are promoted it will bring about a change in people’s psychology. People want to stay fit and creating a positive atmosphere will empower them ,enable them to and help them to achieve their goals.
2. AVOID DOGMAS:
The main problem that dogmas create is that one set of rules can be applied to anyone and everyone but it is not so.It varies from person to person the amount of diet that need to be taken, intensity of exercises that need to be performed. Variations can be successful and people must realise that experimenting is good and if it fits your lifestyle then there is nothing wrong in it.For the fitness industry dogmas are not good at all, all it needs is passion, hard work and dedication.
3. SAY NO TO EXCUSES:
Your fitness and health depends on you. You can either make it better with dedication and hard work or you can sit at home with a bulging tummy with zero body stamina making excuses. People say they don’t have time, can’t afford good trainers or healthy food or are genetically unfit. These are just excuses that works as a shield between you being fit and you being unfit. If you are one of them who makes excuse for everything you fail in then you have already lost the battle. Can’t afford trainers then search for good resources and there is no thing as being ‘’genetically unfit’’.Everyone can change their body according to the efforts they apply.
