  Dish of the Day

FRUIT TOPPING

1 Cup of fresh or unsweetened 1.5 teaspoons of cornstarch
frozen berries or other fruits Dash nutmeg,cinnamon,and
or ginger
¼ cup of unsweetened apple juice


1.Place the fruit in a saucepan. Stire the apple juice and cornstarch together and pour over the fruit .

2. Heat over medium low heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened . Add nutmeg
or other spices to taste if desired , served hot.

Makes about 1 cup
Per ¼ cup, 31 calories, 0 cholesterol, 1g.dietary fiber, 0 fat, 3 mg sodium.
