Fat is a very important for some of the major body functions moreover it is the major source of energy. It helps in absorption of certain vitamins and minerals, building of cell membranes and sheaths surrounding nerves. Most essentially it helps in blood clotting, muscle movement and inflammation. So cutting down fats from your diet is not at all good for health .All you need to take care is about the type of foods you eat which differs in the type of fat they contain. Mainly fats fall in three major categories that are GGOD FATS (include monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats), BADFATS (industrial made trans fats) and SATURATED FATS.
If you still believe in the old convention that fat is your enemy or is the cause of obesity and heart disease then its high time. New studies have clarified that food rich in good fat improves nearly every health measurement, from reducing your waistlines to keeping your arteries clear.
Keeping good health on mind we have a few food products (rich in good fat) that one must consume in order to maintain a good health:

It is not at all good to skip snacks or food products like the ones mentioned above as when you miss the fat that makes you feel full, you eat double, sometimes triple and end up obese.According to recent studies it has been proven that saturated fats are not the ones to be blamed or villainised but on the other end we must take care of the amount of intake and must not overdo it.For example if you need about 2000 calories a day,no more than 140 should come from saturated fats i.e. from food items like fatty beef, lamb, pork, butter cheese etc. If you already have health issues and is much concerned about your fat intake then consulting a doctors is really helpful.
